One more season of Fall Soccer in the books

Preston played soccer again this fall and had a great time.

Stretching is necessary for all good soccer players.

Lots of speed here...but where's the ball?

The best part about soccer is the trip to Yotty's afterwards!

This one never passes up Yotty's either!

COOKIE DAY 2015

We LOVE matching Christmas pajamas!
Someday, they are going to tell me NO, mom, I will not wear them.

Cy even got a few pictures.

One more pair that our ornery elf brought.

The first weekend of December is Dustin's annual "Deer Camp" weekend.
It's also become our annual "Cookie Day!"

Grandma Sue made two batches of cookies this year and everyone helped until the very end.

There was a quick donut break midmorning thanks to Grandpa Steve.

All their awesome cookies!

Quick picture with Grandma Sue before they were off on other adventures.

The four of them requested a snowball fight with Grandpa this year.

I'm sure there will be lots more this winter!

The same afternoon, Santa always comes to West Chester.

We did a few crafts while we waited for him to arrive.

West Chester Santa is the BEST.

He was asking Preston all sorts of silly questions.

Santa hugs are the BEST!

There weren't many other kids waiting so he had all four of them come up and talk to him again.
Seriously, best Santa ever.

Happy # 9 to our sweet Peighton

Birthdays mean candles in your breakfast at our house!

And a picture with your birthday bear.

Lots of presents.

And a cheesy picture with your brother.

Number 9 for Peighton meant a giant cupcake.

Happy # 9 Peighton Ann!

We're ready for a Roller Derby!

For the big # 9 birthday party Peighton chose to have a skating party with her friends.

It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!

She loves to go roller skating.

Who knew Grandma Sue could skate better than any of us?!?!?!
She skated laps around the rest of us!

Peighton gets better each time we go.
Sparkly spandex pants make skating even better.

Peighton helped Hayden make a few rounds.

Peighton has such a sweet group of little girl friends.

A trip to the skating rink is not complete without a slushy!

We paused for some zebra cupcakes halfway through the party.

I think she likes skating!

You really don't know what you're missing if you haven't heard a bunch of 8 and 9 year old girls belting out pop songs while skating.
It's delightful.

This kid is getting pretty good!

I love to watch these two together.
They adore each other and have so much fun together.

I think Peighton was working on her Limbo skills.
She saw me do the limbo...on skates...Dustin has a video of it which ends in me crawling off the floor...
I'm pretty sure she'll join me next time.
Sadly, I did NOT win the limbo-those short little 3rd graders had an advantage over me!

It was a great party and she is already talking about doing it again!

It wouldn't be fall without a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

We hit the pumpkin patch on a no school day and had lots of fun!

This is the "Hey! Act like you like each other!" picture.

Preston could live in a pool of corn.

Our favorite addition this year was the giant hamster wheel.

It's great if you are a coordinated person, like Peighton, who can adjust the speed of her feet to how fast the wheel is spinning.

Now if you are like Preston...the wheel picks up speed but your feet do not...and then you do a face plant into the front of the wheel.
It ended badly for this little hamster...more than once.

He came out of the hamster experience ok and decided he could keep playing.

Dustin couldn't make his scooter go fast enough and the kids caught up to him and made a train.

Of course they love the jumpy pillow.

And they love to stick their heads through wooden cutouts.

It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!
