We officially have a SEVEN year old!

She's been waiting for seven to come pretty much right after she turned six!

We spent the whole weekend celebrating seven years of her.

It started on Friday after school.
Preston and I picked up Peighton and her friend and went to a Paint your Own Pottery store!
It was so fun!
They chose to make hot chocolate mugs. Love it.
I even painted one!!!

Preston LOVED that he was included.
He chose a tractor, of course.

They chose Mexican for dinner and had a great time playing restaurant/school/giggling a lot while we waited for our food.
It was a very LOUD drive home but all 3 had a great time!

A cinnamon roll with a candle is a must when you turn seven.

She opened a few presents and we were off for another day of fun at Disney on Ice!

Preston's favorite was Puumba from The Lion King.

Peighton said the whole thing was her favorite.

I loved The Little Mermaid part.

Three monkeys during intermission!

At lunch, Peighton got a HUGE cookie cake with ice cream and ANOTHER candle.

Then we headed home for Hello Kitty cake, ice cream and the super important SEVEN candles!

We had a very fun weekend celebrating Miss Peighton!

Leaves!

Grandma has the BEST leaf pile!
She raked them up and the kids helped to spread them right back out!

Spiderman loved being completely buried in the leaves.

His eyes always crack me up!

Just a boy and his hammer

Preston really likes to hammer stuff.

Including, but not limited to:
*his tool bench
*nails
*my furniture
*the floor
*his tractors when they need fixed
*Dustin's knee cap

I saw an idea on Pinterest to make balls to smash...
sounded like something Preston would LOVE
so we tried it!

We mixed equal parts of flour and water and added a little green food coloring.
Then we dipped cotton balls into the goo and put them on a cookie sheet.
Next time I will spray the foil with cooking spray!
They didn't stick too badly but would have come off a lot better with a little Pam!

I baked them for about 40 minutes, until they were hard and kind of turning brown.
We let them cool and started smashing!!!!

We started with his plastic hammer.

It worked pretty well.

But my big hammer worked A LOT better and  made for better smashing!

We will for sure be doing this again!

Two little Minions

Peighton decided to be a Cowgirl at school for Halloween and a Minion with Preston for Trick or treating!

While I was at Target Thursday I happened to find the Minion's Fart gun.
We had to have one, I knew it would make Preston giggle!

They practiced shooting each other many times.

I love Preston's face!

Even though the weather was yucky we still had lots of fun!

One less tooth to brush!

Peighton has been DYING to lose a tooth for quite awhile now.
Most of her friends have lost at least one.

When we went to the dentist in October he noticed that TWO were loose.
She could not have been more excited.

It's been getting looser and looser for about a week now.
Yesterday it was GROSS.
Just hanging by a thread.
I asked her to please pull it out at school. ;-)

On Monday, I made this quick little tooth pillow while she was at school.
I love how it turned out!

On Tuesday, she came home like this.
She had pulled it out at school, got to go to the nurse's office and put it in a tooth necklace.

We were so glad the tooth pillow was done!
Preston even wrote a letter to the tooth fairy using lots of "P's" that he's been practicing.

When she woke up this morning there was money and a new tooth brush for both of them.

The money was special tooth fairy money.
It has GLITTER on it.
Peighton told me that the tooth fairy  must have asked Santa how to make glittery money.
Of course.

A photo shoot with Daddy

We got a text from Dustin Saturday morning...
bring out the camera, he got a deer with his bow.

They like to play in the tall grass...it must have been a little bright!

Preston made sure to bring his "Shoot-gun."

Dustin had to hold Preston if he was going to be anywhere near the deer.

Peighton was not exactly dressed in her Camo gear. :-)
I don't think there will be a lot of deer hunting in her future...she just can't stay away from Pink!
