It wouldn't be fall without a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!

 

We hit the pumpkin patch on a no school day and had lots of fun!

 

 

 

 

This is the "Hey! Act like you like each other!" picture.

 

Preston could live in a pool of corn.

 

Our favorite addition this year was the giant hamster wheel.

 

 

It's great if you are a coordinated person, like Peighton, who can adjust the speed of her feet to how fast the wheel is spinning.

 

Now if you are like Preston...the wheel picks up speed but your feet do not...and then you do a face plant into the front of the wheel.

It ended badly for this little hamster...more than once.

 

He came out of the hamster experience ok and decided he could keep playing.

 

Dustin couldn't make his scooter go fast enough and the kids caught up to him and made a train.

 

Of course they love the jumpy pillow.

 

And they love to stick their heads through wooden cutouts.

 

It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun!

We grew a Jack-o-lantern!

WE LOVE FALL!!!!

It was so fun to use our own pumpkins for all our fall stuff this year.

(And much cheaper too!)

 

 

The potato head pumpkins are a must-do.

 

They each chose one of our big pumpkins to carve.

 

Not sure why they both did the same thing for a picture!

 

Peighton made sure hers was missing a few teeth!

We will definitely be planting our own pumpkins again next year!



A trip to Harvestville Farms!

We spent a fabulous day at Harvestville farms this weekend.

Such a fun place!

 

 

I LOVE this picture with the old truck behind them!

 

Peighton and Preston love these things....they needed a sunflower so Dustin got put in!

 

I'm not sure Dustin was supposed to be riding the scooters...

 

There were cute TRACTOR tire swings!

 

Of course he loved it.

 

The giant slide made out of PVC pipes was a big hit too.

Preston told me," it's bumpy on my hiney!"

 

I like his concentration here at the duck races.

He worked hard to get his ducks to go.

 

A pumpkin patch is not complete without a corn pool.

This one was HUGE!

 

He tried burying himself.

 

And of course there was a jumpy pillow.

 

I think it became a stage for Peighton.

 

We also took a horse drawn wagon ride out to the pumpkins.

 

The driver asked Peighton to come help her drive the wagon!

She LOVED IT!

 

Preston refused to get up there with her though.

 

After lots of playing we picked out some great pumpkins and then hit the Pizza Ranch!
